Photography allows me to take what I see and show it to the world. My first photography class was a silver gelatin 35 mm darkroom course. I was spending a semester of my fourth year of architecture school at the Washington Alexandria Architecture Consortium (WAAC) in Alexandria, VA. I remember spending entire days in the darkroom and completely losing the concept of time. In the Spring of 2008, I took another silver gelatin darkroom course at OTIS College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, CA which reignited my photography practice. This past semester at Carnegie Mellon University, I took my first Color Photography course where I was instilled an appreciation for color. I currently make photographs on my Canon G10 Digital camera or my 35 mm Olympus OM-1. I also recently invested in an Instax (instant camera) and a Holga—both of which I am beginning to learn how to use. Photography will always be a part of my body of work. Continue checking back as photo projects are constantly in the making.
